Utterly Alone

I feel like I'm trapped or locked away.
I'm teased by freedom, for it will never be.
I'm surrounded by blackness.
Utterly alone.
I'm treated like some animal.
Thrown away, left to rust.
I'm slowly dying.
With no one to trust.
I tell my story in heaven now.
Resting peacefully with the angels.
