Moving On
Life moving on has proven difficult.
They say getting out of bed would help, but
That would require me to get out of bed.
I’ve been thinking about doing something insane.
I’ve been thinking about stealing a car, driving to the sea,
Shaving my head and joining a monastery.
I’ve been thinking about taking an oath of silence, but
Silence would requisite me having something still to say.
Life moving on has proven difficult.
Here is a list of things I do to try and forget you:
Ride the Metro, take it to the city,
Take the Metro to the city without you,
Scream at strangers, scream at my parents, scream just to hear something.
It took me forever to realize this, but
Just because something is loud, doesn’t mean it isn’t still silent.
I’ve been thinking about stopping thinking, but
Stopping thinking would requisite me moving on.
It took me forever to realize this, but
There is absolutely no moving on from you.
