Battle Cry
Brothers in arms march forth
Figures Bathed in red
And yet they stand as one
Through uncharted territory, in the face of exigency
Consumed by pain, anguish, desire, fear
And the men march on
Lacking inspiration in a triumphant cause
Would close the traps, or never
The Begotten fools in wartime
Forsake their heart and minds
And publicize the Greats in envy
Never a notion of their own, but the Battle Cry of war
As thought slips slowly away
And the light whispers through the trees
And the men march on
