Im Giving Up on Me
I lay here on the carpet floor
Of my bedroom
I try to rise
But my drained body
and exhausted spirit
Prevents me from doing so
I have not an ounce of fight in me
If I did,
I wouldn't bother using it
Because If I did
It'll get sucked out of me
And used to knock me down
For the millionh time
I am defeated
I will wave the white flag
I surrender
I am a wounded soildier
Fighting a war against myself
I have lost every battle
Of this civil war
I have scars to prove it
My eyes are getting heavy
My heart is beating slower
I have dug my own grave
And its time to rest
