"Poetry is like the pollen of a flower, so delicate and sweet, and spreads as rapid as the seeds of a dandelion."

I always get that feeling,
when you look me directly in the eyes
It's like two blue oceans,
almost as deep as my soul,
piercing through my heart
When you touch my hand
my heart goes pitter padder,
like fresh rain drops on cement
You seem misunderstood
as if nobody's there for you
just please know I'm always here
Covering up your emotions
by being rude and cocky
I see the real you,
deep within your heart
Hear me out
please answer my plea
The real you is beautiful
and i don't want to see him die
Loving you is easy
but I don't know why
Maybe it's your looks
or the marvelous boy inside

This free verse poem is personal to me and can relate to many people. It's about a boy who is hiding behind a rude outside to cover up his true emotions to look cool for others and not himself. He feels as if nobody is there for him and if he shows his real self, people would make fun of him, even though people are there for him including me.
