Swag lololoolool
Perhaps some days we wish we could have left,
Or have washed away the pain, staring at our reflection.
It would mask all of our issues, with little bereft,
Cleansing our insecurities, guiding us to perfection.
Maybe in the first year we crawled out of our shells,
On to unfamiliar shores, inhabited by strange creatures.
They casted upon us swindling spells,
And released our individual features.
The struggle was great at times,
Our success seemed to be unreachable.
Atop a sandy dune it stood, surrounded by crimes.
Little did we know, this protection was breach-able.
If focus was the key, the door would surely open,
But for that to occur we needed devotion.
Life grew tougher, and relationships grew shorter,
Stress had enacted its powers upon us.
Our future was at risk, every single quarter,
And the bliss of our future, they would surely discuss.
Yet, once again we prevailed,
Surprising to most, but expected from trust.
Our glory rained upon the world like hail,
We were in lust, celebrations were a must.
Reminiscing on those struggles had me thinking,
How I miss the sleepless nights and early mornings.
But it felt good to not feel as if I were constantly sinking,
Perhaps all these experiences were merely warnings.
Inevitably we must digress and carry on,
Invariably these memories will never be gone.
