"Poetry is like the pollen of a flower, so delicate and sweet, and spreads as rapid as the seeds of a dandelion."

What lurks in your darkest corners
makes me feel insecure
Your depths are filled with creatures
burned into a scary blur
Sucked in by my fears
killing me inside
makes me want to break down and scream
For now I'll tuck you away to hide
but you won't be gone forever
You come back so sudden and soon
slithering and crawling
staring back at me like the moon
They say you're temporary
but I know you're real
Stop it now
I can't even feel
All I can say is don't look behind you

This poem is about fears that are real to you and nobody else knows that same feeling. It's like you're stuck in a never ending nightmare and it won't go away. It's very near to me because I have many fears that I can not over come, or as my language arts teacher would say, my "Achilles heal".
