If Only You Knew
If only you knew
how fast my heart throbs
when I'm next to you
like colts running free
in a beautiful valley
under the day-light sky
If only you knew
how just one kiss
from you makes me melt inside
like an ice cream cone
on a hot summers day
with little wind blowing
If only you knew
how your touch
gives me goose bumps
like on a cold winters day
with the wind gliding across
a tiny patch of bare skin
If only you knew
how sweet your
deep voice is
like a beautiful melody
that repeats itself over
and over in my head
If only you knew
how warm it feels
when you hold me
like sitting by a fire
or bathing in the
warm summer sun
If only you knew
how much you
really mean to me
as if I could
lock the world in a safe
and protect it with my life
If only you truly knew
