Another Day
Another day I’ve painted my hands the happy color.
Another day I’ve held in a scream.
What more do I need to show?
What more of your apocalypse do I need to take in?
I’ve gone and shown a smile at least.
I’ve gone and let it out alone.
Do I need to be alone again?
Oh please don’t make me be alone again.
I’ve cried a river once in a while.
Yet I’ve never built a bridge.
Do you see me standing in the sun light?
If you do, then how come I can’t see it?
They’ve sung songs I’ve sung before.
They’ve sung songs that make me quiver in fear.
These songs I’ve heard before make me remember.
If you’re the magic man, make me forget.
Another day I’ve painted my hands the happy color.
Another day I’ve held in a scream.
What more do I need to show?
What more of your apocalypse do I need to take in?
I’ve gone and let it out alone once again.
