Her eyes, sweet and soft, made me feel as if I was one of few.
Offering comfort and everlasting love with in the waters of their eternal blue.

Her voice, it sang, in a most enchanting way.
It could make men of the sea come to bay.

Her laugh was like honey, rich and smooth.
The sweetest of daisies could not copy the way she would move.

But my daisy, now, why do you weep?
With strings of pearls lain at your feet.

The pearls they sing as they fall from your fingers.
Though my letter washed in tears, still in your heart it lingers.

But my sweet darling, dry your eyes.
For your light still shimmers across the rising tides.

My hearts still true, those yours may falter.
My darling, my love will never sway and never alter.

But now my Daisy your dazzling light is shaded.
For your heart is heaving with the sins you wade in.

My darling, my darling, from across the bay,
I watch as my memories dim and wash away.

But in my bed of daisies I lay, defeated.
A waiting the arrival of my one true love that was never fully completed.
