Goodbye for now
Death is not a permanent goodbye,
it is simply a goodbye for now.
A temporary parting until your time.
Losing someone leaves a hole,
that hole will never fill.
People say so,
but they lie.
The hole represents the piece of your soul,
that was meant for them.
Souls take a little piece of all their loved ones,
so they can feel the love from far away.
A cycle that always ends with tears,
cycles continue they never end.
Death is permanent but memories are forever.
We miss but never forget,
we mourn but never break,
death may separate us
but the love we have will never die
