Shadows are everywhere
They encompass the world
Sometimes visibly and sometimes
Invisibly
But they are everywhere
They are the darkness
That comes out to play
In the glorious light of the day
They are the evil to the good
The yin to the yang
They hide in the inner workings of our minds
And of our souls
They are everywhere
And they lie in wait
To relish when we succumb and
Allow them to come out and
Have some fun
