I don't want to be
A thought in a dream
A fantastic idea
Roaring through your
Imagination

I can't, for you be
A piece of pottery;
A creation,
Being molded in your
Hands.

I do not want to be
A piece of paper,
Thrown away,
Because I didn't turn out
Right

I dare to be
For you, a treasure
A priceless coin,
Placed into your
Hand.

I wish I could be
A dream which
Dared to come true;
The apple of your
Eye.

Why can't I be
A bird of the sky or
A fish of the sea
Without either way you being
Proud?
