Like a leaf
By gravity I fall
Being tossed by the wind
From the tree standing tall

As the seasons change
My strength is none
I fight the fall
But the fall has won

Like a leaf
Crumbled and torn
Vulnerable, I am
Emotionally worn

Stumbling and weakened
By the careful wind
To the ground I wander
In the air so thin

Like a leaf
I hit the ground
Of your careful love
In your arms, so sound
