The End
All who have helped.
All who have torn you down
when you were up.
Your suicidal thoughts are over.
The parties you never went to.
The friends you lost.
The wrecks you witnessed.
it’s over.
Your book is finished.
Your cutting has stopped.
All the pain and stress you have
gone through is what made you
who you are today.
The fights you were out-numbered in.
The breakups, the makes ups
were all useless in your high school
experience.
The Backstabbers,
The Freeloaders,
The Preps,
The Geeks,
The Clubs,
The Drama,
Was once an item but,
no longer alive after today,
The ones who had children have
dropped out.
Your life shouldn’t be this much
of a hassle when you are just a
kid.
The nine months of your last
year is almost over. You’ve done anything to
succeed up to
this point.
Your job is just getting
you by in life.
The last yearbook to sign.
The last hug
Goodbye.
The Cap. The Gown.
The Traditional Graduation Music.
The Walk.
The speeches end with tears.
The names are read,
The Diplomas are given.
You’re finished.
You’re out of here.
but, you have more to come in life.
Graduation for high school
may be complete and that’s the
end of the book for this life
experience, but, the
beginning of a new story.
