Nobody Is Perfect
While
Sitting in math class
I feel the urge,
To raise my hand.
No!
I can’t make a fool
Out of myself!
Suddenly,
Realizing my hand,
Is already in the air.
I think to myself,
It’s too late...
He called on me.
Everyone giggles
As the teacher says
“Incorrect.”
I stood up and shouted
“Nobody is perfect
Everyone messes up.”
