Paper towns and paper people
Over time crumple,
Wrinkle,
Eventually shrivel, tear to shreds,
All that was now is dead.
I take in a breath, let out a sigh;
I have found my life’s a lie,
Made of paper, not of gold,
And paper will wither
As I grow old.
