Arachnids
I spin worries into threads,
I take my worries and build webs.
I catch the future in this gauze,
and try to think of my dear cause
to watch it writhe and retch.
This sorrow so deeply etched
into my persona,
I spin my worries into webs,
I take my worries and build webs.
Joy and peace,
between my teeth,
faith and trust,
recedes to dust.
I spin my worries into threads,
I take my worries and build webs.
My secure domain,
through snow,
through rain.
Perhaps my webs and threads are chains.
Still and all,
it wraps my pains
