Snow Moon in February
Dark as the night that aided in their existence,
or as the soul that lies behind the eyes they guard.
Like a punch in the face from life,
anxiety,
stress.
Contrasted by the grey pallor of my skin
which matches
my clothes
which reflect
my thoughts
and the sky when it rains.
Dark as the clouds that hold the rain are these circles
the rain that:
-pours
-douses
-drenches.
And after it rains, it’s not refreshing,
it’s damp,
and cold,
and lonely.
So lonely.
So lonely I could cry.
Except I kind of like it,
being lonely, it’s nice,
but sad,
like me and my dark circles.
