The day I almost fell
I remember the day I almost fell
The sun was high and all was well
I was given two boots to walk on a stage
It was full of water and dangerous for my age
there was a tank below with dolphins so blue
I had never seen one, the experience was new
I looked out to the crowd with amazed fear
The thousands of people were all so near
The man on the stage asked me to dive
Into the realm of sea creatures on the blue side
I was ready to go, the count down began
But the directions were false, my actions were not according to plan
This one lucky story I always tell
It was the day I almost fell
