Angry, Shattered Mirror
If I was an angry, shattered mirror,
leaving broken pieces
lying everywhere.
Would you follow me,
pick them up?
Save them in a jar,
with ribbon, tied up?
When you had them all,
when I needed them most,
would you piece me together,
like the tide reuniting with the coast.
And when a piece fell off,
would you glue it back on?
Hold me all night
and sing me a song,
till the demons in my reflection,
were all long gone.
If I was an angry, shattered mirror,
would you love me forever,
though I’m fragile,
and delicate with fea
