Tyranny
You already own our life and land,
You bound our worthless feet and hands,
But still you fight to own our voice,
To take away our every choice.
Why do you insist on bringing us down?
When all we did was stand our ground,
What kind of person does this make you?
When you refuse to see what your actions do.
Freedom is a given right,
That is why I choose to write,
About these awful deeds been done,
Denying power from everyone.
We try and try with all our might,
To free ourselves and see the light,
But you push us down, and leave your mark,
By keeping us in infinite dark.
Still we oppose your every thought,
Every action will be fought,
Continuously we will persist,
With each punch and bleeding fist.
One day we will prevail,
And all your moves will surely fail,
Finally we’ll win this war,
We will be free forever more.
In your mind, you rule the Earth,
From every death to every birth,
In your mind you are the king,
But now you lose, let freedom ring.
