"I-I-I-I-I'm so exccci-tt-ted because..."
Mom: Slow down honey.
"I-I-I I can't get mmmmmy words out."
Yea, that was me.
Sometimes it is still hard to speak.
Embarrassing-
Because I can't seem to say what I need to say;
Annoying-
Because I get so frustrated, so I just say, "Never mind," and walk away.
Stereotyped to be uneducated because I can't speak well.
Kids mocking the sound I make when my tongue and mouth aren't in sync.
...
Yea, that was me.
That WAS me.
But sometimes... that me catches up to me.
But I am respected,
Because I still choose to speak.
