All I see is Grey
Sometimes I feel you even when you aren’t really here. The way you feel the wind and know its presence though you can not see it. You know it’s there.
You’re still there.
I don’t know why you plague me the way you do, but still you linger. A force I can not reckon with.
The sting of your touch stains my flesh, and I miss your skin…
Why can’t you just hold me so I can feel closer to you.
I see you and all I can think is why don’t you want me.
I look at you and all I can find in your corners is myself.
I feel as though my soul will always burn for you
Like an eternal flame flickering even after my body is gone,
after yours is gone,
after what is left of this dying earth is gone.
Our tragic story will destroy this world
just as your body has wrecked mine with the way you taunt me,
clinging to my bones and rattling my teeth.
