Stars glitter around me, next to me
They twinkle to each other and I wonder at their existence
The sky is dark, the colour of midnight
Beautiful, dark, dangerous
The plane jolts
I grip the armrests, squeezing my eyes shut
I pray, I beg, I hope
It judders again, the air rough and unsteady
I’m scared, but there s nothing I can do
I am alone, always alone

I can connect to this. I love it. To me, your poem is very descriptive and full of emotion, the only thing I disagree with is that you are not always alone. It's the opposite: you're never alone. I hope you know that. Thank you for sharing your wonderful poem.
