Little Conversations

Where dusk bids goodnight
does the sky awaken,
its stars gradually flitter on
as to illuminate conversations
strung in the constellations
with the moon-
of her comet children;
of humans and their wasted love.
The ivory sky smoothens
save the several creases
where tuffs of a cloud linger
to keep hold of night’s laughter
as it sails through the air.
