raindrops of love
I can never say goodbye,
cause there’s magic in the sky.
Even when I ever tried,
my tongue gets tongue tied.
Raindrops of love,
they fit like a glove.
They really show us,
what we are made of.
I was taken by the hand,
by a rock and roll band.
The light had shown through,
with bright shades of blue.
I dreamed of the day,
that it would come my way,
and that it all might be true.
If only for a few,
minutes or more,
so don’t close that door;
that door up above,
with the raindrops of love.
That keeps on dropping,
and seems on sopping,
soaking,
instead of poking,
on through,
from the dark blue.
Dark blue sky,
with clouds rolling by.
No thunder.
No need to ponder,
about what you feel,
as long as its real.
Your like a dove,
flying with the rain drops of love.
Even through a storm,
you take a form,
going the night,
on into the light.
You come my way,
which makes my day.
You smile at me,
and I now you see,
we can be a pair,
and go on from there,
even through time.
Just look above,
and see beautiful raindrops of love.
Beautiful raindrops of love.
Always love.
Always a dove.
Beautiful raindrops o love.
