"I hear the waters calling me

And I know I must go."

Such an awful song...

The morning light seeps through the blinds

Beams of light begin to penetrate one after another to form dozens of rivulets

The rays choose to lay on the freckles of my face.

They dance and pirouette across either side of the pane.

It is such a beautiful day.

It is a great moment

A great feel, A great time.

But it makes me recoil.

To draw back,

To withdraw from the present situation

To stop listening. To stop feeling.

This might be my last time here before I pass on

I start to reminisce about my childhood

It is mostly the smell of my mothers' sweet scented pancakes that did it.

Oh the song.

She always sang it to herself when she would make pancakes.

"Oh, sweet river. Can I join you. Don't your waters ever get lonely," she sang.

It is the song that took her away

Away from me

And I miss her like time.

And the thing with time is once it goes

You can never get it back.

That's why I am certain

It must be her.

She became one with the water

Oh sweet mother!

Isn't that your voice calling?

"I hear the waters calling me and I think I know now that I must go."

Poor mama. Wait for me a little longer.

They said I have cancer

And it's the bad kind

So make this known to the waters.

To the rocks. To the costive flowing streams.

To every

I am joining you soon.
