I saw a dead body
It lied paralyzed
between my words
I just sat there, flipping pages
I saw a dead body
Her eyes staring blankly
Flattened like road kill
I saw a dead body
Life to an end
Like it never did exist
I did not even know her name
But no worries found
in her sweet little mind
Her family will be doing that for her instead
I saw a dead body
Wings so longer spread
A fly I once found dead
