There is comfort in knowing

that our backdrop

always has something to celebrate.

Why else would she tease a twinkle,

display her diamonds,

boast her brightest?

She plays her show every night

each one a little different.

Eternity has never missed a screening.

Do the stars see me and mine?

Serve another species?

Light another love?

From my pillow

small sparkles they be

really fiery and passionate.

I wish they would move me

fling me far off,

send me soaring.

Oh sky, swallow me up!

Envelop my soul

and teach me how to know.

Know who I am,

know what it means,

know how to live.

Constant and changing,

I'll follow you

till I've found the truth.

That will be never and forever,
