Where I'm From
I am from a childhood of adventurous bike rides, trips to Elegant Farmer on Mother’s
Day, and guitar lessons happily gone to on Tuesdays. From being the best me, to hearing I will love you forever day after day.
I am from a home, but looks can be deceiving. From the red living room
carpet, the wood paneled basement, and the pool table of thoughts.
My home.
I am from fun, exciting weekends of hunting in New London, to a enjoyable yet
expensive hobby of shooting. From biking for miles every week, to every other weekend at the track racing rc cars.
I am from classic car shows on the weekend with my dad, to chili on cold winter nights.
From popcorn around the fireplace, to drinking hot chocolate after making snow forts.
I am from a shorter generation, but I'm the tallest at 5' 7 1/2" in the family ( yes the half
is necessary). From both my parents brown hair, to the same blue eyes as my sister.
I am from winning national team shooting championships, remembering my first day of
kindergarten, and creating a conversation with my dog days on end with no
answer.
