Favorite Quote:
I like and hate a lot of things.

I have a normal face
A normal nose
Normal eyes
And normal hair

I always thought of myself as normal.

I have a normal body
But instead of legs
I have wheels
I have a big blue chair

To me this is normal.

I have a normal life
Mine can be harder than some
But I still have to learn
And I can still play sports

I was always treated normal.

I normally go out in public
Though I don't like to
I feel them staring
I catch the little kids pointing

They don't see me as normal.

But I look normal
To those who know me
In fact my friends think
This wheeling chair is cool

They don't like being normal.

One normal day at school
We were learning about
The human skeleton
On the inside we're actually the same

That's when I began to think what normal was.

I looked around for normal people
But no one was the same
My friend Kara wears glasses
And my friend Caleb wears a kippah

Then I knew there's no such thing as looking normal.

Out of the norm I raised my hand
"There's no difference between us.
Everyone looks the same on the inside"
The whole class agreed with me

I actually felt like one of them. I felt normal.
