My Superwoman
A Job.
It started with a job.
She worked from the age of 14,
And is still working now.
Breaking her back everyday,
For me, for us, for her family.
An artist, a nurse,
A waitress, a landscaper,
Some even call her Superwoman.
But I just like to call her Mommy.
Mommy.
Sounds like a name,
From my five year old self,
But to her its an honor, a title.
Sometimes she gets caught
Up in her work.
But it is only to support us.
Only to show society
That we wont be on foodstamps
And we wont be on Medicade.
Only to show society
That we will make it.
She went back to school
And graduated.
Not with a degree in healthcare,
But a degree in inspiration.
Now there is a 14 year old girl.
She can follow her dreams,
With the knowledge of succeeding.
Because she had someone,
Supporting her.
That someone is her inspiration.
That someone she is proud to call,
Mommy.

My mother is the most inspiring woman in my life, I love her to death. She is also a very important person in my life, everything I wrote is true and she is someone I am "proud to call mommy". I encourage all readers to think of their mothers and how important they are.
