Outsider
that Star sailing little girl…
you wonder why she walks
around with her head
down
all the time.
with her sleeves pulled long
over her wrists,
hiding her naked fingers,
like the Cold
is Everywhere.
probably because the Cold is
Everywhere,
and you just can’t see it.
but that Star sailing little girl…
she knows
what you can’t feel
anymore.
and she sees what you can’t
Beleive.
‘cause she’s got eyes that shine
like two moons
from another world,
and her face, it only glows
in the Dark of night.
and her lips only part
when silence isn’t so sweet.
and her lungs only breathe
the sky of another atmosphere.
and her heart only beats
to the sound of space.
and so you wonder.
you wonder,
about Her.
and while you wonder,
she keeps her head
down
all the time.
and blood runs Cold
and Flowers catch her tears.
and she smiles.
