those are the days
i reminisce at night
i always see your face
when i close my eyes
i never look away
its like im drowning in a sea
floating away, to you, from me.
and when you look at me
there's nothing i can do
lost in your eyes i freeze
caught in your stare i can't move
when i hear your voice
there's no more noises
it's a silence i can't survive
yeah it's quiet but it's no surprise
that when you touch me
i feel weird inside
and when you loved me
i left you behind
you just seemed so empty
i had to choose to leave
