A thought to open minds.
I’m taking a step out,
I’m facing anxiety.
Yes, this is just a poem,
but it’s also part of me.
I’ll quickly jump to say,
we care about our minds.
After sharing what we believe,
not everyone is kind.
It really is a shame,
we only have closed eyes.
Acceptance is a dream,
and silence our demise.
I have a tough time writing,
but I’m the one to blame.
I scrutinize each phrase,
‘cause there’s so much in a name.
Here’s something for you to chew on,
when you hit that all time low.
Care for others’ struggles,
and watch the places you’ll go.
