Rainbow
Pretty as a picture;
Thats how I wantd to remember her;
So, I sat down to paint her, in vain
For in no canvas, could she be contained.
I started with the crimson of her passion;
Spilled some teal for her tears;
Tangerine, for the burn of her anger;
A stroke of fuchsia for her madness;
Filled in some ivory for her placidity;
A dash of lime for her jealousy;
Shades of lavender, for her smell in my lungs;
Chocolate, for her taste in my mouth;
Violet, for her touch on my skin.
I painted her;my rainbow,my kaleidoscope;
My own psychedelic high.
Her colours so vivid;
Forever burned onto my mind.
