Eclipse
They say it dosen't happen too often,
meeting someone who leaves you never the same;
An eclipse of the soul.
It lasts a short while.
So intense. So dark.
So unpredictable. So sharp.
As your shadow fell on me,
I could see my outline, so completely incomplete;
So broken, not whole;
So dark was my soul.
Thought I was made of light
Or was it you? Shinig so bright.
I was you, you were I
Souls bared, we shined.
Joined at my beginning and your end.
I was blinded. Eclipsed.
Will I ever see again?
An encounter so insanely brief;
It never will make sense
How I was blinded by such a beautiful darkness.
