Her eyes soared through galaxies, but her heart swam through oblivion.
His hands reached for the stars but gravity grabbed his ankles.
Her mouth whispered the constellations, his fingers tracing the paths of comets.
They are like the earth and moon, the ground and sky, day and night.
Touching only through machines, sunrise and sunset, and the horizon over the sea.
