Fluid
Emotion is fluid.
It is ever-changing,
ever-growing;
sometimes it halts completely
under tragic circumstances
or in unfortunate souls.
But mostly it breathes
in time with the pauses
between our words and ideas,
spoken at whichever volume
is required to be heard, or not.
It moves through our veins,
after being pumped through
our arteries, and like this,
it lives on, influencing.
