My Old Broken Heart

I can't sleep at nights
Because of all the things I've done
At the moment it was pretty smart
But now I feel so dumb
Can't remember the last time I liked somebody
But I remember the first girl
She was a cute lil shawty

We used to talk
Had a couple laughs
Thought I liked her
She was pretty fly
Now looking back
I ask myself why
Ask why was she was unique
But then I remember
She was the one who was nice to me

We were cool
Everything was straight
Then she heard I liked her
She said eew get out of my face
Boy you're so ugly
Get the hell out of my way
I thought she had a heart
Turns out that chest was filled with empty space

I couldn't believe it
I tried to change her mind
But it was a waste of time
My heart broke
Made that the last time
It was the worst mistake I ever made
But then I learned
Hard hearts help ease pain
The broken ones must be put away
