Rain.
Windows flirt with my senses, taunting me with what could be,
but never giving anything more than the skin off her leg.
Distasteful lies slip off on my tongue uneasily, just to sneak out and get a peak.
Yearning to break free of my cell, looking out toward the not so distant rain
I burst out finally, suffocated no longer by a lecturer but hit by the icy wind of freedom.
The rain, free to drop and fall. Upon impact a new life awaits.
To become different every time you fall then rise back again keeps me waiting.
Waiting to be synchronized with you, to have you conform to me.
Then no worries would drag me down deep, then I could not drown.
