Why Am I
I once was a child of smiles and laughter who played with barbie dolls and toy cars. Now i’m a teen of tears and screaming who smokes and carries a blade. I scream and cry I drag my blade against my skin for safety, I inhale to calm my mind and to relax. I look at my childhood dolls and bawl my eyes out. Thinking, “Why cant I now be a teen version of that child with barbie dolls and toy cars smiles and laughter? Why cant I be a teen version of that child? Why do I have to be this teen of tears and screaming who smokes and carries a blade? Why do I have to scream and cry? Why do I drag my blade against my skin for safety? Why do I inhale to calm my mind and to relax? Why am I a teen of tears and screaming?”
