Words
I’m fine; a simple phrase caked in the bittersweet frosting of life
  It is a lie
  An attention turner
A way to get the spotlight off of you
When you are crumbing under the world’s heavy fingers
Five minutes; a blinking red stop sign that screams back it up and leave
  It is a break
An opportunity to swim in the melodies of life
  Take a collective breath
And cry against the sorrows of the wind
Nothing; a void full of hidden feelings
  It is a safety net
  A replacement word
  An iron shield
To black your true feelings from the world
Go ahead; a sword swinging in action
  It is an adrenaline rush
A chance to leap into battle
Free against the cold cuffs of society
  As you spread your wings
*Sigh;* an inhale filled with a million unreadable moods
  It is a prison
  A concrete cage
That keeps your inner thoughts prisoner inside your head
  All for the greater good
Okay; a word that usually comes with watery eyes and wet cheeks
It is a deadly shot of poison
  A two faced meaning
With a side effect of depression
That makes the ground shake with worry
Thanks; a swirling kaleidoscope made of a thousand iridescent colors
  It is a prayer
A way to make people hold hands
Either if their lips our puckered
Or their faces are sour in the name of God
Whatever; a fanged toothed vampire ready to draw blood
It is a blow to the face
A warning for you to turn around and walk away
With melted ice in your eyes
And your heart broken on your sleeve
  *Silence;* a three dot pause
It is a tissue to blow your nose into
  An unspoken word
That spurs an eye roll, a smirk
And a finger placed in the middle of your hand
I got it; a hurricane of confidence that runs rampage through the night
Its dauntless soul capable of speaking their mind
  A brazen lion
That cannot be contained by golden columns or iron bars
For it is not strong enough to break though
Words; a mouth that speaks the language of a thousand tongues
It is a backbone for speech
A hammock for men and women to rest in
A place where vocabulary blossoms into a garden
And where societies most used words can be spoken endlessly
