Death
One may claim,
Oh no,
Not today.
But they forget,
Death will come
You may run,
But you cannot hide.
For there is nothing
Death cannot seep through
Death stands
Tall and proud
Our fate lay in his hands.
He comes and shouts
In deafening silence
He chases you
With stilled feet
Before you know it,
he's at your door.
And when you hear his silent knock,
You might as well open the door,
For you can run no more
