What mask shall
I wear today?
The tears that
no one sees
are wiped away
replaced
with a shiny
confident facade
What mask shall
I wear today?
My emotions
that no one
can see
are pushed deep within
my soul
and replaced with a false
euphoria
What mask shall
I wear today?
Back straight; chin up
command the room
You belong there
ignore the one
who broke you
let him see
that he didn’t hurt you
Even if its just a guise
What mask shall
I wear today?
