I'm alive, but at the same time i've died a million times.
The night is a curse the eats away the strength to make it through the day.
The soul is an empty bottle floating on water, but never takes any in.
Life is the adventure down an empty road.
I am the beginning of a tragic story.
If only the story knew how hopeless it was.

Major depression has been a part of me since i was 7 years old. This is the first poem i wrote about my disease.
