With or Without me
  I want to be there
For every leap and every fall
For every time you laugh and smile,
Your jokes that last forever and
Be there for the smile that makes you open up
  And I see within you
  Or I think I do
  I want to be there
For every time you face contorts
  In agony and anguish
For every tear that drips down your freckles
For every moment as you crumble
  And slowly flicker out
I want to be there when you rekindle
But I can’t keep lighting your candle.
  When mine is burning out
I want to laugh beside you
  But I don’t know if it’s a joke
  I’m different around you
  When we’re together I’m alone
Like a spider web I’m stuck to you
You were someone I thought I could protect,
But you were really behind the gun,
  Holding the bullet
And now I’m sitting confused and lied to
Because I wanted to be there
  I wanted to help
But I know now that you didn’t need it
And that you wouldn’t be here
  With or without me

Now matter how many Poems I write, I always come back to this subject and I can't get it to be what i wan't it to be, but I gues that's also what the poem is about.
