behind reality
We build up expectations from these unforgettable moments that seem to tear us up in the end. Every time you stop and reminisce the world becomes a distant place and all that matters for that spilt second is your happiness and what you wish would've happened if the world were in your control. As we progress and walk further away, being happier and impregnable, reality comes running back and taking you down once again. Why can't reality be as friendly as it is in our minds? Perhaps because that's all it is; imagination.
You can't control the past or What's already been done, nor the future and How people act towards it. Nothing is in our control and that's something that we all fail to understand. Life is a journey full of mysteries, some that we'll never quite understand and others that are plain to the bare eye but we refuse to accept simply because it isn't what we'd hope for. The problem is and the whole reason for this is that we build up expectations that nobody but ourselves understand. We expect people to act in a certain way when we clearly know somewhere in our minds that that most likely won't happen. People will do you wrong, you'll get hurt, not every promise will be kept and life will never be as easy as we thought that it'd be when we were younger. This will go on for generations only because every parent gives their children high expectations, nobody really gives the cold hard truth. I guess It's a way to entertain our ignorant minds and force happy thoughts.
