Favorite Quote:
Everyone deserves to love, but suffering is optional. That' s why I try to watch my moves carefully

A young woman glances into the mirror
pulling her shirt sleeves down past her wrist
praying that no one will ever witness the bruising
mentally, last night is slowly relapsing
being pinned against her will
the scent of his cologne
She cried no,but   began to crave more of him
feeling  naive for the decisions that she has built
Chains of steal are covering her heart
Whipped into thinking that this was only the beginning

A young woman glances into the mirror
pulling her shirt sleeves down past her wrist
she begins to  paint her face
reminiscing on memories that were often spoken yesterday
The glass shatters
Her knuckles are shaken red
tears are falling greatly

A young woman screams in agony
her innocence is no longer heard
Flashbacks of the deepest blue come to mind
his voice is haunted in her memory
" I will take your body until you're almost dead!"

A young woman is beautiful, yet cradled in her own despair
craving more than an unhealthy relationship
day-dreaming on the day she will walk down the isle

A young woman picks herself up from the floor
hoping to find inner-peace
unresolved of her  mistakes
She begins to pray for a highly tolerable reality

A young woman glances into  the broken mirror
Astounded at her actions, but realizes her stance in society

The author's comments:

I like to think that life is simple, but it's rather complex. I've tend to notice that people will come and go as they please. Sometimes, it's best to accept that concept because it's better for your stance in society. The only objective left for you to do in such a situation is to win, even if it may hurt for awhile, but it's for the best. This piece shows every aspect of a young woman and what she goes through while suffering with infatuation for a man.
